Before Your Spray Tan: Do’s & Don’ts

- • Gently exfoliate 24 hours before you arrive• Complete shaving or waxing a full day early• Finish other beauty treatments like facials or nails first• Bring loose-fitting dark clothes and sandals to wear• Apply oil-free moisturizer daily after your initial shower• Always pat dry carefully with your towel instead of rubbing

- • Avoid applying oils, fragrances, or antiperspirants before your appointment• Steer clear of restrictive garments, undergarments, or yoga pants during processing• Prevent contact with moisture, perspiration, and pools throughout the setting phase• Sidestep abrasive cleansers or exfoliating scrubs while maintaining your color• Shield delicate upholstery and linens by avoiding direct contact until your initial wash
Preserving Your Glow
To ensure your personal bronze ritual remains flawless and radiant, please observe these fundamental aftercare instructions designed for longevity and an even glow.
Development
Please wait between 8 to 12 hours before your first lukewarm rinse to let your tan develop. Side note: If you received an accelerated tan, wait 2 hours before your first rinse.
Hydration
Moisturize daily with an oil-free lotion. Hydrated skin is the secret to a tan that fades with grace and elegance. Stay away from moisturizers containing retinol, salicylic acid, glycolic acid, or benzoyl peroxide.
After-Shower
Always pat your skin dry with a soft towel. Rubbing can prematurely exfoliate the artisanal pigments applied to your skin.
Avoid Friction
Avoid excessive sweating, swimming, or long hot baths during the first 24 hours to maintain a perfectly even complexion.
Gentle Care
Refrain from using harsh soaps or mechanical exfoliants until you are ready to remove your tan and refresh your ritual.
